Ochre is the oldest pigment known to man. Found in cave walls, in ancient tools, in the earth itself it was the first colour people reached for when they wanted to mark something that mattered.

This bracelet carries that same weight. Black on one side, warm rose-copper on the other two finishes pressed into a single piece, wide enough to mean it, substantial enough to last. The contrast is quiet until the light hits it, and then it isn't.

About me

Every single piece of jewellery I make begins with the same intention: to be worn by someone who truly takes joy in it.

Copper has been worn directly against the skin for thousands of years — by Egyptian queens, Roman soldiers and generations of women before us. Quietly, every single day, close to the skin. I've been making this jewellery by hand for 33 years, and I've seen customers come back year after year.

What began as a craft became something I can only describe as a calling. But now my grandchildren are growing up without me always being there — and for the first time in 33 years there's something that matters more than the work.

Every piece in this collection is made with my own hands, one at a time. I can only create a limited number — and once they're gone, I won't make any more.

My mother lived to 96. She wore copper every single day.

She never took it off. Not in the shower. Not when she slept. Not even on her wedding day.
